Marathon Weekend Runs Through The Outer Banks Nov. 12-13

It’s Outer Banks Marathon Weekend once again, with events running throughout the area on both Saturday and Sunday, including the annual OBX Marathon from Kitty Hawk to Manteo on Sunday morning, Nov. 13.

Tri Outer Banks Sports at the Expo
11:15 AM – Surf Pediatrics & Medicine Fun Run
11:45 AM – Diaper Dash

7:00 AM – Southern Fried Half Marathon Start
7:20 AM – TowneBank Outer Banks Marathon Start
8:30 AM – 2:30 PM Post Race Party- Beverage & Beer Garden
8:30 AM – 2:30 PM – Live Band – Jonny Waters & Company
8:45 AM – Southern 6 Start
10:30 AM – 11:00 AM – Southern Fried Half Marathon

7:30 – Outer Banks 8K – No race day registration.
1:45 Hour Cut Off to Finish – stragglers will be swept from the course.
First Flight High School track, 100 Veteran’s Drive, Kill Devil Hills 27948

8:45 AM – 8K Awards!

9AM – 6PM Race EXPO & Packet Pick-up
Dare County Youth Center – 602 Mustain Ave., Kill Devil Hills

9:00 AM – Pirate Family Festival Begins!
presented by Surf Pediatrics & Medicine

9:30 AM – Buccaneer 5K – No race day registration.
1 Hour Cut Off to Finish – Stragglers will be swept from the course at 11:00am.
First Flight High School track, 100 Veteran’s Drive, Kill Devil Hills

10:30 AM – 5K Awards!

11:15 AM Outer Banks Fun Run 1 mi.
Morning of registration is available at the registration tent located on the field.

11:45 AM – Diaper Dash for crawlers and toddlers only.
