Outer Banks Veterans Week Returns With Over 20 Events

Dare County Arts Council has announced more than 20 events scheduled during Outer Banks Veterans Week, which stared with First Friday celebrations in downtown Manteo on Friday, continuing with ceremonies and special events from Corolla to Cape Hatteras for Veterans and Active Duty Service members all this week.

The centerpiece of Outer Banks Veterans Week is the Outer Banks Veterans Writing Project, which was held this weekend, Nov. 5-6 at UNC, Coastal Studies Institute on Roanoke Island, but there are many more events still to come.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 10

Cape Hatteras Secondary School 3rd Annual Veterans Day Celebration

at which time our veterans will be recognized for their service.  All veterans are welcome to attend
