Nags Head Elementary Pumpkin Fair Kicks Off OBX Halloween Season 2016

Halloween season officially arrives on the Outer Banks this weekend, with Nags Head Elementary School’s annual Great Pumpkin Fair kicking off the countdown to OBX HalloWeek.

The family friendly fall festival includes rides, such RoboSurf and the Whizzer, bounce houses, a rock wall, games, food, plus a bake sale, auction, and raffles, and of course lots of pumpkins for everyone.  

The event is a benefit to raise funds for the Nags Head Elementary PTO.

The Great Pumpkin Fair returns to Nags Head Elementary School, located on Wrightsville Avenue near milepost 11, this Saturday, October 1, from 10am to 3pm.

This event kicks off the countdown to HalloWeek on the Outer Banks, featuring a week of Halloween events throughout the area, including the first Halloween International Film Festival Oct. 27-29 at RC Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, the 3rd Annual Outer Banks Halloween Parade of Costumes on Oct. 30 at Kelly’s in Nags Head, Halloween ComicFest on Oct. 29 at Earth 383, the Exotic Erotic Ball Oct. 31 at Outer Banks Brewing Station, nightly after parties following the film festival, and more to be announced.
