Weekend Movie Update – Sept. 16, 2016: ‘Blair Witch’ Returns
A new group of kids with cameras go back into the woods in search of the Blair Witch in theaters this week, while Bridget Jones gets pregnant, Snowden gets busted, and Kubo lands at The Pioneer.

The animated adventure, Kubo and the Two Strings (rated PG) starts a one-week run at the historic Pioneer Theatre in Manteo on Friday, playing through Sept. 22.
Showtime at The Pioneer is 8pm nightly.

Filmed in secret and just unveiled this summer, the found footage sequel Blair Witch (rated R) goes back into the woods, opening on Friday at RC Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with a special preview screening tonight (Thursday) at 7:30pm.
