‘Once Upon a Time’ Kids Show Playing at Roanoke Island Festival Park

Bright Star Touring Company will present the children’s show Once Upon a Time in the Indoor Theatre at Roanoke Island Festival Park in July.

Literature comes to life in this hysterical production, bringing to the stage the stories of

Cinderella and Jack and the Beanstalk!  Mabel and Lenny are determined to reenact these two classic fairy tales, undertaking almost a dozen roles. From the character, formerly known as Prince Charming and the Fairy Godmother, to a growing beanstalk and a giant lumbering above the set, this production is always a favorite of young people and families alike.

Bright Star Theatre, based in Asheville, NC, serves nearly 1,500 audiences annually. The company performs for schools, libraries, theatres and museums across the country and has been a featured artist at the National Theatre in Washington DC, the Savannah Black Heritage Festival and many other exciting venues.

Bright Star Touring Company will present Once Upon a Time on July 6, 7, and 8 at 10:30am in the Indoor Theatre at Roanoke Island Festival Park in July.

Tickets are $5/ ages 2 and younger-free. How about a Combo Ticket? Admission to the Park and the children’s show offering a discount of $2.50 off Festival Park adult admission; $3.00 off youth RIFP admission. No additional discounts apply. They may be purchased in advance at Ticket Sales or the day of the event.
