Where To See Outer Banks July 4th 2016 Independence Day Fireworks
This Independence Day there will be plenty of Outer Banks July 4th fireworks displays happening throughout the area to keep the sky alive with explosions of color in celebration of America’s birthday.
Here’s where you can see fireworks on the Outer Banks this Monday, July 4th!
KILL DEVIL HILLS
Fireworks in Kill Devil Hills will launch from Avalon Fishing Pier, located at 2111 North Virginia Dare Trail on NC 12 (the beach road), scheduled to begin at 9pm.
NAGS HEAD
Fireworks in Nags head will launch from Nags Head Fishing Pier, located at 335 South Virginia Dare Trail on NC 12 (the beach road), scheduled to begin at 9:25pm.
MANTEO
The town of Manteo will host their annual Independence Day Fourth of July Festival all day on July 4, with events starting at 10am, to be followed that night with the fireworks display to be launched over the downtown waterfront scheduled to start after dark.
AVON
The patriotic celebration continues on Hatteras Island, where fireworks will be launched from Avon Fishing Pier, located at 41001 in the village of Avon, scheduled to begin at dusk.
COROLLA
In Currituck, the 23rd Annual Festival of Fireworks returns to Heritage Park in Corolla, featuring live music, food vendors, children’s games, a watermelon eating contest, and a cornhole competition, all starting at 5pm and followed by the fireworks display starting at dusk.
A rain date for each of the above events has been set for the following day, Tuesday, July 5.
