Rock The Cape Festival Returns To Hatteras Island
Dare County Arts Council will host their fourth annual Rock The Cape Festival this month on Hatteras Island.
The Rock The Cape Festival will return to Hatteras Island for its fourth year for three days of art, music and fun next week.
Join Dare County Arts Council for all the festival’s exciting events, including Experience Art Activities at participating Hatteras Island art galleries June 8-9, a free Live Art demo on June 8 starting at 3:30pm at Hatteras Landing, a rocking concert at Koru Village’s Beach Klub starting at 6pm on June 9 and The Island Art Show at the Rodanthe Community Center on June 10 from 10am-5pm.
The oceanfront concert will be opened by Americana band The Midatlantic featuring Hatteras Island native Jason Andre and headlined by Cajun-Zydeco band Unknown Tongues.
Tickets to the Rock The Cape concert are $12 in advance and $18 at the door. They are available online at brownpapertickets.com and at Koru Village in Avon, Lisa’s Pizzeria in Rodanthe, Indian Town Gallery in Frisco, Blue Pelican Gallery in Hatteras Village, Dare County Arts Council in Manteo and Cloud Nine Gallery in Nags Head.
