Weekend Movie Update – June 3, 2016: ‘Turtle’ Power
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are back in action in theaters this week, while a new Popstar takes the stage, the Mother of Dragons gets romantic, and Alice goes Through the Looking Glass at the historic Pioneer.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are ‘Out of the Shadows’ with Megan Fox.
The fantasy sequel Alice Through the Looking Glass (rated PG13) starts Friday at the Pioneer Theatre in Manteo.
Showtime at The Pioneer is 8pm nightly.

The action continues in another sequel new this week, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (rated PG13), opening Friday at RC Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with preview screenings set for tonight (Thursday) at 5, 7 (3D), 7:30, 10 and 10:15pm (3D).

The human cast includes Megan Fox (Transformers, Jennifer’s Body) returning from the first film as April O’Neil, along Stephen Amell (Arrow) making his debut as Casey Jones.

Also new this week, the romantic tearjerker Me Before You (rated PG13) also opens Friday at RC Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with preview screenings set for tonight (Thursday) at 7:10 and 10:10pm.
