‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ Teaser Trailer Revealed!

The first teaser trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was revealed this morning on ABC’s Good Morning America, giving us our first taste of this “spin off” from the Star Wars saga of the Skywalker family, flashing back to a time period in the mythology that takes place just before the events of the very first Star Wars movie, Episode IV: A New Hope.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is directed by Gareth Edwards (Godzilla, Monsters), telling the story of resistance fighters who have united to steal plans to the dreaded Death Star.

The film stars Academy Award nominee Felicity Jones (The Theory of Everything, The Amazing Spider-Man 2); Diego Luna (Milk, Killing Them Softly; Ben Mendelsohn (Bloodline); Donnie Yen (Ip Man, Blade II); Jiang Wen (Let the Bullets Fly, Devils on the Doorstep); Forest Whitaker (The Butler, The Last King of Scotland); Mads Mikkelsen (Casino Royale, Hannibal); Alan Tudyk (Con Man, Trumbo); and Riz Ahmed (Nightcrawler, Four Lions).
