EVP Beach Volleyball Tour Returns For 2016 Outer Banks Pro-Am
The EVP (Extreme Volleyball Professionals) beach volleyball tour will return to Jennette’s Pier in Nags Head this May for the 2016 Outer Banks Pro-Am, part of the national tour.
The EVP Tour, a professional and amateur national beach volleyball tour, recently announced its 26th annual summer tour schedule. You can read the full press release below, and then make your plans to be at the 2016 EVP Outer Banks Beach Volleyball Pro Am on the south side of Jennette’s Pier in Nags Head on May 21!
“I am excited to be a part of a national program that offers regional and national athletes the platform to compete for the right to represent their city at the World Championships. The City of Hampton Virginia will greet the EVP Tour champions at the Paradise Ocean Club on Friday, August 13” says Commissioner of the EVP Tour, Ross Balling, “With the addition of more events our athletes will have the opportunity to travel to 17 great destinations. Also, we are all excited to showcase seven of our events on the Beach Sports Network (BSN).”
With the City-versus-City competition, a trademark of EVP Tour tournaments, players and fans enjoy strong rivalries as teams battle for supremacy in the sand and a chance to represent their city on a national level.
This year’s EVP Tour kicks off on April 29-30 in Bradenton, FL. Several stops with history on tour include Tybee Island in Savannah, Fort Lauderdale Beach and North Beach in Racine, Wis. The new stops this year include Bradenton, Florida and Erie, Pennsylvania, among others.

The EVP Tour has established a national pro-am volleyball attraction in key markets across the country from March through November. EVP has a national clearance with Beach Sports Network and will produce ten, 30-minute TV shows, reaching over 60 million viewers in 40 states per airing. The Tour reaches and supports local and regional athletes, while EVP Network Members assist the tour’s grassroots efforts by establishing young adult relationships that drive participation in tour events.
