Children At Play Museum Mardi Gras Gala Fundraiser Returns
The 5th Annual Mardi Gras Gala to benefit the Outer Banks Children At Play Museum returns to the Pirate’s Cove Pavilion in March.
Traditionally the local Children At Play Museum, located in Kitty Hawk, holds it’s annual fundraising gala in early March, the biggest fundraiser for the museum.
The Gala will feature the local band, Just Playin’ Dixieland from 7:30 to 9:30pm. DJ Lady J will take over after the band.
Striper’s Bar and Grille will provide traditional New Orleans style buffet.
Attire will be black tie and guests will be adorned with New Orleans style masks, with the hall decorated in a traditional New Orleans style. Street performers will mingle among the guests, making the event feel and look like Bourbon Street.
A silent auction will also be set up for guests to bid on as they enter the Gala.
An open bar with beer and wine will be served all evening.
The 2016 Children at Play Mardi Gras Gala will take place at the Pavilion at Pirate’s Cove Marina in Nags Head from 7 to 11pm on Saturday, March 5.
Tickets are $50, with proceeds to benefit the Outer Banks Children At Play Museum.
