Where To Celebrate Super Bowl Sunday on the Outer Banks
The Big Game is this weekend, featuring the Carolina Panthers taking on the Denver Broncos in a battle for National Football League (NFL) championship on Super Bowl Sunday, the most watched televised spectacle of the year, and OBX Entertainment is here to bring you the score on where you can watch the game and celebrate the event this Sunday, February 7.
You can watch the game on the giant movie screen at Outer Banks Brewing Station in Kill Devil Hills, where you’re also invited to come early for the pre-game Puppy Bowl, which will also be shown on the huge projector screen, kicking off at 2pm.
The Jolly Roger Restaurant in Kill Devil Hills is also showing the game in their bar area, featuring drink specials, $1 hotdogs, and free chili and nachos. They will also be giving away two amazing five-day, four-night trips, to the Bahamas and the Dominican Republic, to be awarded to the “best dressed NFL fan”, which does not necessarily have to incorporate the Panthers or Broncos.
A winner will be announced at the end of the third quarter of the game, with additional prizes to be given away each quarter.
Down the street in Nags Head, Kelly’s Outer Banks Restaurant and Tavern is serving up an all-you-can-eat buffet, plus door prizes and a reverse raffle to benefit the Dare County Senior Scholarship Program. Tickets are $50 for the whole package, or $25 for the buffet only, starting at 6pm.
