Temptations Revue Headlining 2016 Shallowbag Beach Music Festival
The Temptations Revue will headline the 3rd Annual Shallowbag Shag Beach Music Festival in May, along with returning favorites The Tams and Steve Owens & Summertime.
A tribute to the legendary Motown sounds of the original Temptations, the group known as The Temptations Revue is lead by lead vocalist Nate Evans and backed by an eight-piece orchestra.
Nate Evans was the former lead singer of The Impressions and was selected by original Temptations lead singers Eddie Kendricks and David Ruffin to join the group.
The 2016 Shallowbag Shag Beach Music Festival is happening on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30 at Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo.
The gates at Festival Park will open at 11:30am, with Steve Owens & Sumertime set to take the stage at 1pm, followed by The Tams at 3pm, Jim Quick and Coastline at 5pm, and The Temptations Revue at 7pm.
General admission tickets are $25 in advance, and they are available for purchase online here.
