March 13 – KELLY’S ST. PATRICK’S PARADE – A beloved tradition and a must-see spectacle unlike any other, it’s the ultimate kickoff to the spring season.
March 17-20 – TASTE OF THE BEACH – With dozens of local participating restaurants serving up hearty specials on their most popular dishes, you can’t help but get your fill.
April 16-24 – BIKE WEEK – The 14th Annual Outer Banks Bike Week roars into town with numerous events happening throughout the area.
May 30 – SHALLOWBAG SHAG BEACH MUSIC FESTIVAL – The legendary Temptations headline the annual beach music festival at Roanoke Island Festival Park, along with returning favorites The Tams and Steve Owens & Summertime.
Sept. 21-24 – BLUEGRASS ISLAND FESTIVAL – The Soggy Bottom Boys headline the four-day 2016 Outer Banks Bluegrass Island Festival in September at Roanoke Island Festival Park.
Oct. 15 – SEAFOOD FESTIVAL – There is no tastier way to spend a day than at the annual Outer Banks Seafood Festival in Nags Head, where all of the area’s best restaurants serve up some of their favorite creations.
Oct. 30 – HALLOWEEN PARADE OF COSTUMES – The 3rd Annual Outer Banks Halloween Parade returns to Kelly’s in Nags Head on Halloween Eve, with an afternoon of free family fun, treats for all ages, and the greatest cosplay showcase on the East Coast, presented by OBX Entertainment!
