First Flight Trick or Treat Night Part of OBX Halloweekend Festivities
The annual First Flight Elementary School Trick or Treat Night PTO fundraiser is happening during OBX Hallo-Weeekend on Saturday, Oct. 24 from 4 to 8pm at First Flight Elementary in Kill Devil Hills.
“Trick or Treat Night,” to be held at First Flight Elementary School on Saturday, October 24th, is a family friendly fundraising event hosted by the PTO that includes a plethora of Halloween activities. Guests can Trick-or-Treat through the halls, visit the library turned haunted house, or take a chance in the cake walk! With games, face painting, and a photo booth, kids of all ages are guaranteed a frightfully good time! The event also includes a raffle full of amazing prizes and a silent auction packed with merchandise and gift certificates donated by local businesses. Slice Pizzeria, Tubbs Hot Dogs, and Island Snowball will be on hand for dinner and treats in the cafeteria.
Monies raised from this event will be used to supplement several of the school’s existing programs and help create new learning opportunities for students. First Flight Elementary School PTO, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, has plans to help the school purchase a sound system for the music program, expand on the current outdoor classroom and garden, implement a cultural arts program, offset yearbook costs for each student, provide incentives and prizes for our positive behavior program, pay for field day activities, provide items for teacher and staff appreciation, support Odyssey of the Mind, and much more.
All are invited to attend “Trick-or-Treat Night” on Saturday 24th from 4-8 pm at First Flight Elementary School. Admission is $2 plus a non-perishable donation for the food bank. Don’t forget to wear your costumes!
