Outer Banks Bluegrass Festival Celebrates 4th Year With 4-Day Concert

UPDATE: The Outer Banks Bluegrass Island Festival has been cancelled for Friday and Saturday due to weather concerns. The show will continue through this evening. Anyone who has purchased tickets for Friday or Saturday will receive a rain check valid for the next 2 years.

The 4th Annual Outer Banks Bluegrass Festival returns to Roanoke Island Festival Park, expanding this year to four days on Sept. 23-26, featuring another all-star lineup of talent headlined by country icons Lorrie Morgan and Pam Tillis, “newgrass” originator Sam Bush, a reunion of the Cherryholmes Family Band, North Carolina’s recent America’s Got Talent stars Mountain Faith, and many more!

With returning favorite Rhonda Vincent headlining on Wednesday night, Sam Bush will follow on Thursday night, with Morgan and Tillis in a joint performance on Friday night, and the Cherryholmes reunion will cap off the Festival on Saturday night, Sept. 26.

Tickets are $145 for all four days or $45 per day, and they can be purchased in advance online here.
