Superman becomes a super spy in theaters this week, while Meryl Streep rocks out, and the Fantastic Four continue their run at the historic Pioneer.

Fantastic Four (rated PG13) is now playing at the historic Pioneer Theatre in Manteo, through August 20.
Showtime at the Pioneer is 8pm nightly.

Also, happening this Friday, August 14, the Outer Banks Children at Play Museum is once again presenting free family film screenings every Friday this summer as part of the Movies on the Sound program, continuing this week with the Disney adventure Pirates of Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (rated PG13). Henry Cavill (Man of Steel, Batman v Superman) trades in his superhero cape for a different kind of suit in the movie adaptation of the classic spy TV series The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (rated PG13), opening Friday at R/C KDH Movies 10 in Kill Devil Hills, with preview screenings tonight (Thursday) at 7:20 and 9:55pm.
