Dinosaurs roam again in ‘Jurassic World’.

Jurassic World (rated PG13) takes you to the now fully functional theme park of living dinosaurs, where a new genetically enhanced menace breaks free and terrorizes guests, continuing its two-week run at the historic Pioneer Theatre in Manteo through June 25.

Showtime at the Pioneer is 8pm nightly.

Also, happening this Friday, June 19, the Outer Banks Children at Play Museum is once again presenting free family film screenings every Friday this summer as part of the Movies on the Sound program, continuing tonight with the animated sequel Despicable Me 2 (rated PG). Click here for a preview!

The only new release opening locally this week is the new animated Disney Pixar comedy Inside Out, starting Friday at R/C KDH Movies 10 in Kill Devil Hills.
