Dinosaurs rule once again in theaters this week as the highly anticipated sequel Jurassic World opens.

Jurassic World (rated PG13) takes you to the now fully functional theme park of living dinosaurs, where a new genetically enhanced menace breaks free and terrorizes guests, opening today at the Pioneer Theatre in Manteo and at R/C KDH Movies 10 in Kill Devil Hills.

Showtime at the Pioneer is 8pm nightly.

Also, happening tonight, the Outer Banks Children at Play Museum is once again presenting free family film screenings every Friday this summer as part of the Movies on the Sound program, continuing tonight with the classic sequel Back to the Future Part II (rated PG). Click here for a preview!
