‘The Lost Colony’ Announces Character Dinners
Would you like to dine with Native Americans, colonists of the New World, or even Queen Elizabeth I? You are invited this summer to The Lost Colony‘s featured character dinners.
Each Tuesday & Wednesday evening throughout the season, The Lost Colony offers a pasta buffet and the opportunity to meet the cast members and experience American history firsthand.
Character dinners allow audience members to try on authentic colonial and Indian costumes while learning about the history and time period props used in the performance. Suitable for all ages and entertaining for everyone.
A special performance from The Lost Colony’s choir members makes the character dinners unforgettable.
One of last season’s character dinner guests, from Hertford described their experience: “We loved every minute of the evening. Before dinner there was time for the girls to try on some costumes. While we ate, one of the staff members gave an excellent talk on background of the play.
“Then some of the actors came (in full costume) for autographs and photo ops. The backstage tour was a treat as our two guides (both in costume) provided a lively commentary as we covered the key spots – including the costume and props departments. What a delight when we ‘bumped into’ the Queen!”
Character dinner tickets include catered pasta buffet, ticket for The Lost Colony, souvenir program for adults, a special gift for the kids, and a backstage tour for everyone.
The dinner begins at 6pm, followed by the backstage tour and The Lost Colony performance.
