Outer Banks Children At Play Movies On The Sound 2015 Schedule Updated
The Outer Banks Children at Play Museum in Kitty Hawk will once again present free outdoor screenings of some of your favorite classic family films every Friday night this summer as part the Movies on the Sound program.
All movies this year will be shown at the Town Green in Duck or at the College of the Albemarle (COA) ballpark in Manteo, with screenings expected to return to the Event Site in Nags Head next year.
There have been some changes to the schedule originally announced, mainly due to the removal of Star Wars because Disney is not allowing any screenings of any Star Wars films before December 18. (If you don’t know what’s happening on December 18, you must be living under a rock in a galaxy far, far away, but that is when the most anticipated movie of all time Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens opens in theaters.)

August 7 – Big Hero 6
August 14 – Pirates of the Carribean (Pirate Festival with KHK)
August 21 – Planes: Fire and Rescue
August 28 – Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2
