Outer Banks Weekend Movie Update – March 20, 2015: 'Divergent' Sequel
The futuristic rebels of The Divergent Series are back in theaters this week, while Sean Penn is The Gunman and North Carolina native Julianne Moore is Still Alice at the historic Pioneer.
Here’s your Outer Banks Movie Update for the weekend of March 20, 2015!
At the historic Pioneer Theatre in Manteo, Fayetteville, North Carolina native Julianne Moore stars in the drama Still Alice (rated PG13), the role for which Moore just won the Academy Ward for Best Actress, starting Friday and playing for one week.
Showtime at the Pioneer is 8pm nightly.

Leading this week’s new releases, Shailene Woodley (The Fault in Our Stars) returns as Tris in the action sequel The Divergent Series: Insurgent (rated PG13), opening tomorrow (Friday) at R/C KDH Movies 10, with preview screening scheduled for 8pm tonight (Thursday), showing in both 3D and traditional 2D formats.

Also new this week, Sean Penn (Milk) is a hunter who becomes the hunted in The Gunman (rated R), also opening Friday at R/C KCH Movies 10 in Kill Devil Hills and premiering tonight (Thursday) with preview screening at 7:15pm.
