North Carolina’s own Delta Rae have toured around the world, appeared on Conan andhad their music featured on HBO’s True Blood, and now the new age folk rock band is coming the Outer Banks, live in concert at Kelly’s Restaurant and Tavern in Nags Head in June July!
Formed in Durham, North Carolina, Delta Rae consists of three siblings, Ian Holljes (vocals and guitar), Eric Holljes (vocals, guitar, piano and keys) and Brittany Holljes (vocals), as well as Elizabeth Hopkins (vocals).
After starting out as a four-piece ensemble, the band added Mike McKee on percussion and Grant Emerson on bass in 2010.
Their name hails from a fictional story the Holljes’s mother intended to write about a Southern girl named Delta Rae who summons the Greek gods to earth.
The band is touring this summer in support of their newest album After It All, which will be released nationally on April 7.

Delta Rea will be live in a concert, with a special guest local opening act to be announced, on Tuesday, June 30 Friday, July 31, at Kelly’s Outer Banks Restaurant and Tavern in Nags Head.
