The Lost Colony Announces Auditions For PsychoPath Haunted Attraction

Posted By on September 3, 2014

The Lost Colony may have closed for the season, but the work continues around the Waterside Theatre as staff and crew make plans for the upcoming October event that is guaranteed to scare everyone who dares to enter the haunted attraction.

'The Lost Colony' presents 'PsychoPath' for Halloween 2013.

PSYCHOPATH is an innovative, interactive and terrifying new attraction from the creative team behind The Lost Colony

The attraction will open on September 27th and continue every Friday and Saturday in October.

Tickets are available online at hauntedisland.org or at the theatre ticket office the evening of the event. Tours begin after sunset and the last ticket is sold at 11:00 each evening.  All tickets are $13.00 until Oct. 1 when the price will increase to $15.

Mystery has always played an important part in the history of Roanoke Island, and this seasonal adventure takes advantage of the unexplainable events that surround the disappearance of the men, women and children that vanished from the woods that we explore today.  The self-guided tour of the haunted island will reveal monsters, ghouls and creatures of all shapes and sizes.

This tour is not for the faint of heart.  PSYCHOPATH is not recommended for children under ten years of age.

Actors and workers are needed to staff the special Halloween attraction.  Anyone interested in participation in the PSYCHOPATH production is encouraged to attend auditions on Friday, September 5 at 6:00 PM at The Lost Colony Building located in the Fort Raleigh National Historic Site near the Elizabethan Gardens.

There are both volunteer and paid positions available, and actors of all ages are invited to audition!  Actors will become monsters, walking dead, and scary creatures.  Once the attraction is up and running, the time commitment will be from 6pm till Midnight.

A rehearsal and build schedule will be set once auditions are complete.

The event will take place no matter what the weather may be.  Much of the tour is inside and therefore this is a rain or shine event.  PSYCHOPATH is sponsored by The Outer Banks Visitors Bureau, Shoshin Technologies, Max Radio of the Carolinas and OBX Entertainment.
