Outer Banks Fishing Charters Donates Costume Contest Prize To OBXE Halloween Parade!
OBXentertainment.com is excited to announce that Outer Banks Fishing Charters has graciously donated a free half-day fishing trip to be one of the prizes awarded to the winners in the Family/Group cateogry of our Costume Contest at the first annual OUTER BANKS HALLOWEEN PARADE OF COSTUMES, a free family-friendly event for kids and adults of all ages, coming to Kelly’s in Nags Head on Sunday, October 26, 2014!
In addition to the short (0.3-mile) walking parade around the Kelly’s property, prizes will be awarded for the Best Costumes in various categories/age groups, including Best Male and Female age 5 and under; Best Male and Female age 6-12; Best Male and Female age 13-adult; Best Couple; and Best Family/Group Costumes.
Captain Tim Story of Outer Banks Fishing Charters has donated a free half-day fishing trip for up to four people aboard the Storytail, valued at $375, to be one of the prizes that will be awarded to the winners.
Some of the other prizes already confirmed include tickets to Roanoke Island Festival Park and the Wanchese Woods haunted attraction, gift certificates from Ocean Annie’s Craft Gallery and Sweet T’s Coffee, Beer, and Wine, a complimentary family beach portrait session by Artz Music & Photography, and lots more to be announced in the coming weeks.
Everyone who registers to walk in the Parade will be entered into the Costume Contest, with the winners to be announced during an Awards Ceremony immediately following the Parade.
Award-winng singer/songwriter Jonny Waters will perform live beginning at 2pm, prior to the Parade.

The Parade will begin at 3pm, with registration starting at 2pm at Kelly’s Outer Banks Restaurant and Tavern in Nags Head, North Carolina.
Food and beverages will be available for sale inside Kelly’s, as well as professional portraits, and live entertainment by Jonny Waters starting at 2pm, plus NFL football on TV and a real life “Haunted Hearse” on site for spooky Halloween-themed photos with families and friends in costume.
Admission to this rain or shine event is free for anyone wearing a Halloween costume.
