The youngest male winner in American Idol history, Garner, North Carolina native Scotty McCreery was back on the Outer Banks last week to film the official music video for his new single “Feelin’ It”.

Some of the popular local venues you can expect to see should be familiar to Outer Banks residents and visitors when the video hits in a few weeks, including area icons such as Jockey’s Ridge State Park, NC12 through the Cape Hatteras National Seashore, Bodie Island Lighthouse, Jeanette’s Pier, and more.

Winner of multiple Emmy’s and country music video awards, Roman White lends directed the video.

The Outer Banks Visitors Bureau staff provided some logistics assistance and orientation for the producers and the nearly 30-person production crew in the days leading up to the filming, which took place on Wednesday, June 11.
