Tom Cruise lives and dies the same day over and over in theaters this week, while you lovers find The Fault in Our Stars,and a little boy learns that Heaven is For Real at The Pioneer.
Here’s your Outer Banks Movie Update for the weekend of June 6, 2014!
Premiering this Friday at the historic Pioneer Theatre in Manteo for one week is the family drama Heaven is For Real (rated PG).
Showtime at the Pioneer is 8pm nightly.

The new sci-fi adventure Edge of Tomorrow (rated PG13) stars Tom Cruise (Top Gun, Interview with the Vampire) as a man who lives (and dies) the same day over and over, in the middle of a war against an alien species, premiering tonight (Thursday) at 8pm and officially opening tomorrow in both 2D and 3D formats at R/C KDH Movies 10 in Kill Devil Hills.

The only other new release opening locally this week is the drama The Fault in Our Stars (rated PG13), based on the bestselling novel of the same name and directed by Virginia Beach, Virginia native Josh Boone.
