Llamas at Brunch Playing Kelly’s, Nags Head This Weekend [Concert Preview]

Posted By on May 21, 2014

Virginia’s Llamas at Brunch will be on the Outer Banks this weekend, live in concert at Kelly’s in Nags Head.

Llamas at Brunch will be live at Kelly's in Nags Head on May 23-24, 2014.

Llamas at Brunch is a bunch of friends who came together from diverse musical backgrounds, creating a unique sound that can’t be labeled as an existing genre. With roots in rock, blues, and whatever they might be listening to at any given time, they will entertain you with honest lyrics, creative jams, and a span of covers with their unique take.

They bring the same high-energy to shows on festival stages, corner bars, and everywhere in between as they continue to expand and evolve their musical direction.

Haley Bauser, often compared to Janis Joplin, Grace Slick and Susan Tedeschi, enjoys writing and singing about nonsense and humour in misfortunes. Her guitar and mandolin rhythms, along with the tight drums of Jay Windsor and badass bass lines of Raymond Zhao, provide the foundation for the sexy guitar leads of Ben Laderberg and the multi-instrumental talents of Carter Hall on keys, sound effects, knob turning, and sax.

Their first self-titled EP was released in 2014.

You can see Llamas at Brunch live on stage at Kelly’s Outer Banks Restaurant and Tavern in Nags Head this Friday and Saturday, May 23-24.
