Theatre of Dare Announces Cast for ‘Dixie Swim Club’
Theatre of Dare has announced the cast of its final production of the season, the beach-friendly comedy The Dixie Swim Club.
When five women become friends in college they form a lifelong bond that brings them together every August on the Outer Banks for a girl’s weekend.
The Dixie Swim Club by Nicolas Hope, Jessie Jones & Jamie Wooten is the tale of these women, who will be portrayed by Jessica Sands, Mary Egbert, Betsy Head, Janet Bryant, and Chelsea Smith, directed by Stephanie Sexton.
The Dixie Swim Club is a delightful comedy that looks at the lives and loves of these women and teaches them just what “teamwork” and friendship really mean.
The production will be performed four times, starting on Thursday, May 1 and running through Sunday, May 4 at the College of the Albemarle (COA) Roanoke Island Campus in Manteo.
Tickets are $11 for adults and $6 for students at the door or in advance.
