Fight Night is coming to the Outer Banks, when Dirty South Boxing Club presents a special event being dubbed “Pit Fighting Legends”, featuring seven bouts of mixed martial arts (MMA) and boxing live in an outdoor ring at The Pit Boardriders’ Grill in Kill Devil Hills this May.

Local professional champions David “Do or Die” Derby and William “Storm” Bailey take on challengers in two separate fights. Derby will compete in an MMA exhibition, while Bailey will strap on the gloves for a traditional boxing match.

In addition to the double main event, there will be five other fights featuring up and coming local fighters.

Pit Fighting Legends is happening on Saturday, May 10, from 3 to 6pm at the Pit Boardriders’ Grill in Kill Devil Hills.

Admission to this event is free to the general public.

The Pit, located at 1209 South Croatan Highway near Milepost 9 in Kill Devil Hills, will be open throughout the event, offering their full menu inside.
