Don’t miss the exhibit ‘Elizabeth II – 30 Years of History’, which tells the story of the construction of the ship, from framing to launching. Also included in the exhibit are photos of the building of the ship, blueprints of the Elizabeth II, and various artifacts pertaining to the ship.

You can also watch the film that tells the story of the building of the ship and offers interviews with the shipbuilders.

Letters and drawings that children have written after visiting the ship are also on display.

The exhibit will continue through December 31 and is free and open to the public.

The Elizabeth II attraction is open daily (except Dec 24-26) from 9am to 5pm at Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo.
