Weekend Movie Update – Nov. 27, 2013: Get 'Frozen'

Here’s your Outer Banks Movie Update for this extended Thanksgiving weekend of November 27, 2013!
Premiering this Friday at the historic Pioneer Theatre in Manteo for a one week run is the new comedy Last Vegas (rated PG13) brings together Robert De Niro (Goodfellas), Michael Douglas (Romancing the Stone), Kevin Kline (Silverado), and Morgan Freeman (The Dark Knight) as aging best friends who head to the City of Sin for one last blow out.

Disney’s newest animated comedy adventure Frozen (rated PG) opens today at R/C KDH Movies 10 in Kill Devil Hills, about a group of friends who go on an epic journey in hopes of freeing their world from eternal winter.
Starring the voice talents of Kristen Bell (Forgetting Sarah Marshall), Josh Gad (Jobs), and Idina Menzel (Enchanted), you can watch the official trailer of the film in the player below!
The only other new release playing locally this week is Homefront (rated R), about a former DEA agent who moves his family to a quiet town where he soon tangles with a local meth druglord.
