Elizabeth II Headed To Haul-Out In Manns Harbor

The 16th Century representative ship, Elizabeth II left her homeport at Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo on Wednesday, January 15, for the North Carolina Department of Transportation Ferry Division Shipyard in Manns Harbor for some repair work.

Some of the original shipbuilders from Maine will be helping with the repairs, as well as Roanoke Island Festival Park employees.

Funding for the repairs is being provided by Friends of Elizabeth II.  

The ship will arrive back at Festival Park in time for the re-opening on Monday, March 3.
