Weekend Movie Update – Sept. 13, 2013: 'Family' Faces 'Insidious' Sequel
An Insidious sequel arrives to haunt a mob Family hiding out in theaters this weekend, while the undead’s newest law enforcement officers investigate The Pioneer.
Here’s your Outer Banks Movie Update for the weekend of Friday the 13th of September, 2013!
Jeff Bridges (The Big Lebowski) drafts Ryan Renolds (Green Lantern) into the Rest In Peace Department in the new action comedy R.I.P.D. (rated PG13), opening at the historic Pioneer Theatre in Manteo, starting this Friday for a one week run.
Showtime at The Pioneer is 8pm nightly.

From the director of Saw and this summer’s The Conjuring, the sequel Insidious: Chapter 2 (rated PG13) opens this Friday the 13th at R/C KDH Movies 10 in Kill Devil Hills.

Also new in theaters this week, is the dark comedy The Family (rated R), a mob story about a mafia family now in the witness protection program, premiering Thursday at 10pm and opening on Friday in Kill Devil Hills.
