Funds raised are used to support various non-profit organizations in Dare County.

The First Flight Marching Band, whose members volunteer at the event and provide musical selections, also receives a portion of the proceeds.

This year’s Oink n’ Oyster Roast is happening on Saturday, October 12, from noon until 4pm at Longboard’s Island Grill in Kitty Hawk.

Tickets are $25 for adults, $7 for ages 7-13, and free for ages 6 and under, and they can be purchased in advance from any First Flight Rotary member or online here.
