[Local Buzz] Festival Park To Host July 4th Concert And Fireworks

Posted By on June 22, 2013

The annual 4th of July Independence Day celebration at Roanoke Island Festival Park this year will feature a live patiotic concert followed by the Town of Manteo’s fireworks display.

The Blue Aces

The Blue Aces, a division of the U.S. Air Force Heritage of American Band, will begin their patriotic performance at 8pm on Independence Day Thursday, July 4, in the Outdoor Pavilion at Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo.

Fireworks will be provided by the Town of Manteo starting at dark.

Gates open at 6pm.

Since noise from fireworks can be unsettling to dogs, it is suggested you leave them at home.

Parking will be available at the park until the lot is full and also in downtown Manteo. Handicap parking will be available at the park.

This concert event is free and open to the public.
