Family movie night returns to Nags Head this week, with Movies on the Sound screened outside after sunset at the Outer Banks Event Site, to benefit the Children at Play Museum.

Toy Story 3

This week’s family friendly film to be screened is Disney Pixar’s hit animated sequel Toy Story 3 (rated G), playing this Friday, May 24.

In the comedy, Buzz, Woody, and the other toys are mistakenly delivered to a day-care center instead of the attic right before Andy leaves for college, and it’s up to Woody to convince the other toys that they weren’t abandoned and to return home.

Admission is free and parking is $10 per car.

Viewers are invited to bring their own blankets and lawn chairs, as concessions will be available for sale.

Gates open at 7pm and showtime is at dusk.
