[Local Buzz] Roanoke Island Festival Park To Host KidsFest

The Children and Youth Partnership for Dare County presents KidsFest 2013, coming to Roanoke Island Festival Park on Mothers Day weekend.

Festival Park invites youngsters and their parents to this free and fun-filled day where children ages five and under can enjoy face painting, musical performances, blocks and bubbles, ice cream, art, and much more.

Children will also be able to explore and climb into a fire truck and United States Coast Guard boat, and more.

KidsFest 2013 is happening from 9:30am to 12:30pm on Friday, May 10, in the Outdoor Pavilion at Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo.

This event is sponsored by Children and Youth Partnership for Dare County.

In case of bad weather, a rain date has been scheduled for the following Saturday, May 17.
