'Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives' Outer Banks Episodes to Air on Food Network
Upcoming episodes of The Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives premiering over the next four weeks will feature segments filmed on the Outer Banks this summer at a number of local restaurants.
First up, The Brine and Bottle in Nags Head will be featured on this week’s episode, premiering this Monday, Dec. 17 at 10pm on The Food Network, entitled “Fully Focused”, where host Guy Fieri will try local deep fried pickles and soft shell crab.
Coastal Cravings in Duck will be featured in next week’s new episode, premiering on Christmas Eve, Monday, Dec. 24 at 10pm in an episode entitled “Far Out”, as Feiri will visit “the gas station turned gourmet seafood stand grilling up scallops and packin’ a crab boil to-go”, according to the official website.
On deck for next month, Orteg’z Southwestern Grill & Wine Bar in Manteo will be featured in Jan. 7 episode, entitled “Matches Made in Heaven”, with Fieri checking out “the husband and wife tag-teaming in the kitchen to deliver on soft shell crab quesadilla, tuna tacos, and shrimp and chorizo”.
The Weeping Radish Farm Brewery in Grandy will then be featured on the Jan. 14 episode, entitled “Savory Sensations”, as Fieri drops in at “the farm to table German joint rolling out the ruebens and a cheesy baked potato
soup”.
All of the above episodes will premiere on Mondays at 10pm EST on The Food Network.
Fieri filmed for about week in July at various local spots, including the Outer Banks Brewing Station in Kill Devil Hills, which was featured on the Nov. 5 episode entitled “Pubs and Grub”, and the recent Guy’s Family Reunion special that premiered on Nov. 11.
