FFHS Presents ‘The Brothers Grimm’ [Photo Preview]

Posted By on November 8, 2012

First Flight High School’s student production of The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon premieres this weekend in the school auditorium.

There will be three performances of the meta-modern mashup of the classic Grimm fairy tale stories this weekend, with showtimes at 7pm on Friday, Nov. 9 and Saturday, Nov. 10, and at 2pm on Sunday, Nov. 11 at First Flight High School in Kill Devil Hills.

Written by Don Zolidis and directed by Monica DeFelice, the play features some of your favorite fairy tale characters, including Snow White, Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, and Hansel and Gretel, but it is explained early on that this is not your Disney fairy tales, as many of the well known stories are turned upside down with unexpected twists.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for children, students, and senior citizens.
