Weekend Movie Update – Sept. 14, 2012
An animated classic swims back into theaters this week with a new 3D makeover, while Jeremy Renner gets Bourne again at The Pioneer Theatre.
Here’s your Outer Banks Movie Update for the weekend of September 14, 2012!
Jeremy Renner (The Avengers, The Hurt Locker) takes over for Matt Damon (The Bourne Identity) in the fourth entry in the popular Bourne action franchise, playing at the historic Pioneer Theatre in Manteo, starting this Friday for a one week run.
In addition to Renner, The Bourne Legacy (rated PG13) also stars Rachel Weisz (The Mummy), Edward Norton (The Incredible Hulk), Scott Glenn (Sucker Punch), and Stacy Keach (Escape from L.A.).
Showtime at The Pioneer is 8pm nightly.

The only new release in theaters this week is the 3D re-release of the Disney-Pixar family favorite Finding Nemo (rated PG), opening on Friday at KDH Movies 10 in Kill Devil Hills.
The animated comedy adventure stars the voice talents of Albert Brooks (Drive), Willem Dafoe (Spider-Man), and Ellen DeGeneres (Mr. Wrong).
As an added bonus, Nemo will be preceded by a new Toy Story short film.
