Guttermouth to Stir Up The Pit with New Threat [Concert Preview]
Summer may be windng down, but the Outer Banks music scene is heating up, with national surf-punk hellraisers Guttermouth set to invade Kill Devil Hills this month.
Formed in 1988 in Huntington Beach, CA, the band is infamous for their outrageous lyrics and behavior which are deliberately explicit, offensive and humorously sarcastic.
Their unapologetic atittude has sometimes resulted in high-profile problems for Guttermouth, including being banned from performing in Canada for eighteen months and leaving the 2004 Warped Tour amidst controversy over their political views and attitudes towards other performers.
For a taste of what’s coming, you can watch the band doing their original song “Lipstick” in the player below!
Guttermouth will take the stage live in concert at The Pit in Kill Devil Hills on Thursday, September 13.
Florida’s The New Threat will open the show.
Doors open at 10pm.
