Friday Night Movies on the Sound Presents 'Dolphin Tale'
Outdoor family movie night continues this Friday in Nags Head!
The Children at Play Museum presents Friday Night Movies on the Sound, outside on the lawn near the old Windmill Point property next to Pamlico Jack’s Restaurant in Nags Head, with a screening of the inspiring 2011 family film Dolphin Tale (rated PG) scheduled for this Friday, August 24.
Based on a true story, Dolphin Tale stars Ashley Judd (Kiss the Girls, Heat), Harry Connick Jr. (Independence Day, Hope Floats), Kris Kristofferson (Blade, A Star is Born), Michael Roark (Magic Mike, Cinemax’s Banshee), and Morgan Freeman (The Dark Knight Rises, Unforgiven).
Director Charles Martin Smith previously directed the Halloween cult classic Trick or Treat (1986) in North Carolina.

Admission to the movie is free, and on-site parking is only $5 per vehicle.
Gates open at 7, and showtime is approximately 8pm, at sundown.
Families are encourged to bring chairs and/or blankets and enjoy the sunset over the sound just prior to this uniqe viewing opportunity.
