Feast on Three More NC-Filmed 'Piranha 3DD' Video Clips!
Following last week’s promo videos, three new clips from the upcoming Piranha 3DD – filmed in Wilmington, NC – have surfaced online this week and you can check them all out below!
The sequel to 2010′s Piranha (which itself was a remake of the 1978 cult classic) opens in theaters on June 1st.
It was actually shot in 3D rather than converted in post production, with Wilmington’s Jungle Rapids water park doubling as the fictional ‘Big Wet Water Park’ in the movie.
The film stars Gary Busey, David Hasselhoff (as himself), Danielle Panabaker (Friday the 13th), Katrina Bowden ( NBC’s 30 Rock), Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future), Sierra Holmes (VH1′s Scream Queens), and Ving Rhames (Pulp Fiction), reprising his role from the first film.
