Here’s your Outer Banks Movie Update for the weekend of April 27, 2012!

The Raven

The fantasy adventure sequel Wrath of the Titans (rated PG13) opens at the 94-year-old Pioneer Theatre in Manteo on Friday.

The film stars Sam Worthington (Avatar) and showtime at the Pioneer is 8pm nightly. You can view a trailer in the player below!

With no less than four new releases opening this week at KDH Movies 10, there is literally something for everyone in local theatres this week.

The Raven stars John Cusack as Edgar Allan Poe

For the fearless horror fan, there’s the thriller The Raven (rated R) starring John Cusack as Edgar Allan Poe in a fictional story in which the famous author’s most violent tales are being brought to life by a serial killer. Check out the trailer below!

For fans of comedy, there’s The Five-Year Engagement (rated R), about a couple who just can’t make it to the alter.

The film reunites star Jason Segel (The Muppets) with his Forgetting Sarah Marshall director Nicholas Stoller. You can watch a trailer using the player below!

If that’s not enough, there’s the fast-paced Safe (rated R) starring genre favorite Jason Statham for the hard-boiled action fan…
