Celebrate New Year’s Eve 2018 on the Outer Banks

Here’s what’s happening on the Outer Banks for New Year’s Eve, ringing in 2019 on Monday night, December 31, 2018!

Jolly Roger Restaurant in Kill Devil Hills has New Year’s Eve specials happening all night, starting at 4pm. There will be free champagne and party favors at midnight, plus karaoke, and free kielbasa, black eyed peas, and sauerkraut served for good luck after midnight. Admission is free.

Secret Island Restaurant in Kill Devil Hills invites you to kick 2018 to the curb the right way, with free admission and DJ Styles spinning it up all night, starting at 8pm. There will be a champagne toast on the house and a balloon drop at midnight.

New Year in the New World is a free, family-friendly event returning to the downtown Manteo waterfront on Monday, Dec. 31, culminating at midnight with the largest New Year’s Eve fireworks display in North Carolina, all choreographed to music.

The schedule of events starts at 5pm with music by DJ Mixin’ Mike, followed by Songs from the Road Band at 7pm. The Children’s S’mores Station opens at 7pm and there will be a Children’s Early Ball Drop at 8:30, and then more live music by The Original Rhondels from 9pm until the fireworks show at midnight.
