‘Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks’ Season 5 Ep. 8 Previews

The locally filmed National Geographic Channel (NatGeo) reality competition series Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks is currently airing its fifth season, and we have two previews of this Sunday’s new episode.

Episode 8 is entitled “Man Down”, the fleet’s best captain is sidelined with an injury, and the to spot is up for the taking,

Filmed on the Outer Banks, North Carolina, the breakout TV show spin off of the original Wicked Tuna that follows the exciting work of hardcore tuna fishermen on the Outer Banks, production of the new season began in January, once again shot mostly aboard the boats of the local and visiting captains from Gloucester until the region’s bluefin quota is met.

Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks airs on Sunday at 9pm on NatGeo, preceded this week by a new highlights show called “Go Big or Go Home”, featuring the top big catches and near misses, starting at 8pm.

  1. Why is the schedule for this so out of whack? I mean that they are not in order and putting other things there. We are so out of whack trying to figure which episodes to watch!!!

    • The new Season 5 episodes are airing in order on Sundays at 9pm. Each week this year they have also aired flashback shows with highlights from the previous four seasons at 8pm on Sundays before the new Season 5 episodes.
