The slightest sound attracts deadly alien monsters in the thriller A Quiet Place (rated PG13), opening locally Friday at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with preview screenings tonight (Thursday) at 7:10 and 9:45pm

The teen comedy Blockers (rated R), about a group of girls who make a pact to lose their virginity on prom night, also opens Friday at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with preview screenings tonight (Thursday) at 7:50 and 10:15pm.

Based on a true story, the drama The Miracle Season (rated PG) also opens Friday at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with preview screenings tonight (Thursday) at 5, 7, and 9:15pm.
