A new slasher celebrates Death Day by hitting repeat in theaters this week.

A horror film that is similar to the comedy Groundhog Day but much bloodier, Happy Death Day (rated PG13) opens on Friday the 13th at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with a special preview screening tonight (Thursday) at 7:20pm.

Also new this week, martial arts legend Jackie Chan returns to action in The Foreigner (rated R) opens on Friday at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with a preview screening tonight (Thursday) at 7:40pm.
