Here’s your Outer Banks Movie Update for the weekend of August 4, 2017!

Based on the first of eight novels by Stephen King, the new action fantasy The Dark Tower (rated PG13), opens on Friday locally at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with special preview screenings happening tonight (Thursday) at 7:19 and 9:19pm.

Also new this week, the true story drama Detroit (rated R) opens Friday at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with preview screenings tonight (Thursday) at 7 and 10pm.
